Sal Rei
Our other scuba diving base is located in Boa Vista’s capital, Sal Rei. We are just 5 walking minutes from the harbour and beach. The scuba diving school, lobby and bar are located downstairs. Upstairs are our rentable holiday apartments. A restaurant on the premises is in planning. During daytime you can go scuba diving with us and during nighttime you can enjoy the island feeling. The perfect getaway!
No matter whether you just want to dip your toes in and try out scuba diving or whether you are an experienced scuba diver and want to take part in our daily scuba diving trips – just stop by and say hallo. We offer trial diving lessons and if you enjoy them you can continue and become a certified PA
We are looking forward to seeing you at our base.
We are Melanie and Henning, two German scuba diving instructors, who operate a Divingbase on Boa Vista. We value the personal care of our guests and divers as well as the highest level of professionalism during training and our guided scuba diving trips.
Since we have trained our staff for the most part, you can also turn to them to answer all your questions. Our equipment is maintained to German standards and the regulators are even revised in Germany. Our compressor is a Marine 250 made in Germany by Bauer and also undergoes regular inspections. Our equipment is hand-picked: our suits are from ScubaPro because we believe that these offer the best wearing comfort with optimal cold insulation. Our jackets and regulators are also by ScubaPro.
You are also welcome to bring your own equipment as we have enough storage space to store your gear for the duration of your stay.
Our dive sites are located in the bay of Sal Rei as they are (mostly) spared by wind and waves. In case of such bad weather that we cannot go to our usual diving spots, we will arrange transfer to other suitable dive sites.
In short, we offer you 365 days of diving a year. On Cape Verde the temperatures never drop below 20 degrees Celsius (not even in winter;-)). The water temperatures of the Atlantic Ocean is usually around 20 to 25 degrees Celsius and is inviting you to jump in and enjoy.
You’re staying at another hotel? You have no idea how to get to us?
Contact us via e-mail, whatsapp or telephone and we will come and pick you up.
At our scuba diving bases, there is a relaxed, open and familiar atmosphere.
